Cindy Graduated from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale in 1980 with a degree in Court and Conference Reporting, after which she passed her Illinois Certified Shorthand exam.  She worked as a freelance reporter for a few months before being hired as an Official Reporter in 1982, and she remained an Official for the Second Judicial Circuit until her retirement in 2019.

During her years in court, Cindy was involved in reporting complex civil and criminal litigation as well as jury/bench trials in a variety of cases that came before the Court. 

Cindy resides in Salem and became associated with Northcutt Reporting Service soon after her retirement.
